Eli Zablosky is a New Mexico based visual artist set on capturing lucid views of the world around us.
For years, he captured various parts of the Southwest and quiet frontiers on mirrorless cameras, traveling light with digital copies of his surroundings. Today, Zablosky sports a variety of analog set ups, carefully measuring light and composition within each frame of the lost art. Upon return, Eli digitizes his analog moments carefully processing and scanning the emulsified cellulose carried near and dear on the most recent adventure.
Through hobby turned a business eager to support other visual artists. Doors to his film lab opened on a hot July summer just south of the square in San Marcos, Texas. Zablosky Film assists in commercial productions in addition to offering a variety of in store creative resources and services.
In 2024, Zablosky Film was awarded "Outstanding New Business" by Downtown Association in San Marcos, Texas.
Eli Zablosky currently resides in Taos, NM with his wife Natalie, their 2 dogs, 2 pigs, and a cat named Fig.
